Dedicated to total quality of manufacturing of pressure vessels from material identification to Pressure testing as per ASME SEC.II, SEC.V, SEC. VIII & SEC IX. Preparation of QA/QC plan, Inspection and Test plan. Perform internal, external Visual and NDE inspections of pressure vessels. Maintain PMI program on alloy materials to ensure proper material selection and field application. Approve hydrostatic, pneumatic, and in service testing of vessels, piping and tanks for both new construction and post repairs. Coordinate with unit Mechanical and Process Engineers, contractors, maintenance and operations personnel as required on various matters, including inspection code requirements, condition of equipment, recommendations on repairs and quality of workmanship. Review of NDT (MPI/PT/IRIS/ECT/RFET) reports. Ensure that all documents are kept up dated and are traceable involved in inspection of Pressure vessels. Reviewing the Manufacturer’s Inspection Test plans as per ASME Code and project specification. (Pressure vessels, Valves, piping materials etc.). Review of WPS, PQR & Welders Qualification as per ASME code and project specification. Raw material inspection, review of requisition and mill test certificate. Welder Qualification test and Monitoring of welder performance. Reviewing the supplier's NDT procedures, Hydro static test, PWHT procedure and PMI procedures as per code and project specification. Perform inspection activities like witnessing stage wise inspection as per approved procedure & standards. Coordinate with suppler and client for Pre inspection meetings and inspection activities as required by approved ITP. Witness Non-destructive examination (PT, MT & UT) as per ASME Sec. V, Sec. VIII & Sec. IX standards. Radiographic interpretation, review and signing of NDT, PWHT and inspection release reports. Witnessing of Hydro-testing of pressure vessel and related piping, butterfly valves, ball valves etc. Painting / coating – Inspection, review of procedure and reports. Conduct weekly expediting/status meeting with Vendors and submit weekly reports to clients as per their requirement. Monitor progress of the job as per the schedule and foresee any delays in completion of the project and intimate client with his recommendations. Preparation of Final QA/QC dossiers as per ISO and Project Management Requirements. Apart from QA/QC profile actively appointed as fire & safety coordinator for OHSAS--
