Graduate Research Assistant 08/2013 - current
University of Texas at San Antonio, San Antonio, Texas United States
Research objective was to ensure energy efficient performance of HVAC systems and Buildings.
I found new way to detect and diagnose faults of AHU. In that case I used a hybrid model (expert rules and Bayesian network) to implement a real time FDD analysis.
The proposed model gave satisfactory results and validated with a real building data. It is expected that further research can produce a very effective complete FDD tool for HVAC system.
Another task was to implement a "Power consumption measurement tool" into a Campus building. Data logger, Current transformers (CTs) and watt nodes were used for instrumentation.--
