Experiences:

Engineering Consultant 01/2024 - 03/2024
Faske Logistics, Toluca, Mexico Mexico
Industry: Manufacturing
Designed and implemented an automated soap packing system to streamline Faske Logistics' distribution line, reducing manual labor dependency. Generated CAD models, compiled Bills of Materials (BOM), and prepared ROI projections, ensuring system integration into existing workflows. Achieved successful project delivery, enhancing efficiency and reliability of packing operations, while refining skills in project management and design.
I designed an automated soap packer for Faske Logistics in Toluca, Mexico. They sought to streamline their distribution line, which previously relied on 14 manual workers. Faske Logistics contacted us through our university so we could offer them a solution that involved creating CAD designs, generating a Bill of Materials (BOM), estimating costs, construction timelines, available suppliers and return on investment projections. The system needed to be easily attachable to the main conveyor and removable for product changes. My responsibilities included CAD design, BOM compilation, and sourcing commercially available materials. The final product efficiently grouped individual soap packages, encasing them in cardboard boxes for seamless integration into the conveyor system. Through diligent teamwork, we successfully delivered the project to the satisfaction of Faske Logistics.--
Engineering Consultant 07/2023 - 12/2023
General Motors, Toluca, Mexico Mexico

Led the design and assembly of an electric race car for the prestigious Electratón competition. Oversaw critical systems, including steering, interior, and electrical design, ensuring a user-focused approach. Collaborated across multidisciplinary teams, fostering effective communication and problem-solving to achieve project goals.
I spearheaded the comprehensive design and development of an electric race car utilizing Solidworks and NX for participation in the prestigious Electraton competition. This endeavor significantly honed my leadership and communication capabilities, as our multifaceted team addressed distinct subsystems of the vehicle, necessitating continuous coordination across teams. Our commitment extended beyond the digital realm; we translated our design into a tangible reality, fostering a profound understanding of vehicular systems. This hands-on experience not only deepened my technical proficiency in utilizing CAM software but also involved manual manufacturing processes. Within this initiative, my responsibilities encompassed overseeing the steering system, interior design, and electrical connections, further enhancing my expertise in these domains.--
Engineering Consultant 03/2023 - 06/2023
Gates Corporation, Toluca, Mexico Mexico
Industry: Manufacturing
Developed a digital twin and blueprint system for steel mold storage racks, improving load-bearing capacity by 20%. Utilized SolidWorks and Unity for mechanical design and simulation visualization, presenting outcomes to stakeholders in the U.S. Gained proficiency in PLC ladder programming and cost analysis to deliver actionable, scalable designs.
Designed an automated rack system for steel molds utilized within the manufacturing facility of Gates Toluca. This project facilitated the enhancement of my proficiency in utilizing various software tools for design purposes, including the development of comprehensive blueprints and the execution of simulations and digital twins. The culmination of this project involved the creation of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic blueprints, which were readily implementable for construction purposes. Additionally, a digital twin was generated in Solidworks to enable simulation visualization, accompanied by structure analysis reports demonstrating a 20% increase in load-bearing capacity. Furthermore, I acquired expertise in PLC ladder programming, cost analysis, and the creation of a digital twin within a VR application developed using Unity. An exciting outcome of this endeavor was the opportunity to present this innovative concept to the Gates manager in the United States.--
