Maintaining the Pakistan’s largest Distributed Control System DCS (Honeywell & Yokogawa), Emergency Shutdown System ESD (Yokogawa and Honeywell), Terminal Automation System (TAS), Tank Gauging System (TGS) and numerous multi-vendor Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) at Pak Arab Refinery Ltd., the largest refinery of Pakistan, with 100,000 BPSD and cross country oil pipeline network.
Responsibilities: ? Maintaining the Pakistan’s largest Distributed Control System (Honeywell & Yokogawa), Emergency Shutdown System (Honeywell & Yokogawa), Terminal Automation System (Honeywell), Tank Gauging System (Endress & Hauser) and PLC based sub-systems (Allen Bradley RS Logix 5000, Allen Bradley PLCs and SLCs) ? Supervise and execute Control Systems related Corrective and Preventive Maintenance activities in order to ensure smooth process operation. ? Investigating the cause of trips and submitting the root cause analysis. ? Addition and modification in control logic drawings, DCS Graphics and I/O configurations. ? Replacement of Faulty Control System parts as per SOPs i.e. Processor cards, I/O Modules, Communication Modules etc. ? Troubleshooting of Networking problems in Control Systems. ? Identification, technical evaluation and procurement of local & foreign spare parts for equipment. ? Critical decision making and root cause analysis in emergency situations. ?
