- Appraised the risk exposure of fix interest rate and U.S. dollar portfolios (about 500 hedging positions for each). Established trading counterpart limits to Interest Rate Swaps (IRS) and Cross Currency Swaps (CCS) resulting in a sustained sound practice of hedging positions and strengthened the institution’s risk profile.
- Implemented models for operational risk exposures, according to Basel II AMA principles (advanced measurement approach) resulting on the first public financial institution in Mexico that integrated these standards.
- Collected and examined more than 20,000 client records for the development of an internal Credit Scoring system focused on the rural low-income population as potential beneficiaries of public programs. Financial intermediaries increased by 15% credit operations with the trust fund.
